Our Project Managers
We know the hotel industry. Our combined years of experience within the hospitality sector, allows us to reduce risk while maximizing hotel revenue. We have developed a very specific management approach which tackles the most common pitfalls of hotel projects. Further, our small team grants us the agility to present flexible solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Our direct and collaborative approach enables us to successfully coordinate between the Owner and Brand, meet the construction schedule, minimize hotel disruption and maximize every dollar spent.
In the capacity as a Project Managers, the SGVL team has been involved in over 100 renovations across the country. These renovations consist of a combination of guestroom, public space and miscellaneous CAPEX projects ranging from full-service hotels to portfolios of select service hotels. We have also managed program re-brandings and brand roll-out initiatives.

Matthew Salerno
Principal – Greater Philadelphia PA
Matt Salerno has over 20 years of experience serving as an owner’s representative in the hospitality industry, he understands from the Owner’s perspective what constitutes a successful project. His relationships with various Owners, Brands, Management Companies, Architects/Designers and numerous vendors helps provides the foundation to the collaborative approach necessary to deliver these unique projects successfully. Organized, detail-oriented and resourceful, Matt is personally involved in all projects and is the client’s eyes and ears throughout the life of the project.
Matt is member of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association and The Hospitality Industry Network (NEWH). He has a Civil Engineering degree from Widener University.
Outside of the office, Matt spends much of his time with his four daughters and supporting their many, many recreational activities. He enjoys golfing, is a BBQ enthusiast, and is a passionate Philadelphia sport fan. Go Birds! But his favorite retreat and happy place is spending time with the family “down the shore” in North Wildwood, NJ.

Pettrice Lewis
Senior Project Manager / Washington DC
Pettrice Lewis has been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. She began her career in the hospitality industry working for Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Since 2011, Pettrice has worked as a project manager in the Owners’ Representative capacity overseeing array of hospitality projects ranging from select service hotels to large-scale full-service hotel renovations. She excels at looking for potential opportunities to add value to the asset for our clients. With her diverse hospitality background and experience working with many Brands and Ownership groups, she understands the client’s needs and the necessary skills to deliver each unique project successfully.
Pettrice resides in Washington DC and has degrees from The University of the District of Columbia and The George Washington University.
When not managing hotel projects, you can find Pettrice in the garden, out for an early morning run or enjoying a good book on a warm, pristine beach. She is a wife of a Terrible Towel-toting (Steeler) fan/movie aficionado and the mother of a differently-abled teenage son – who ensures the beach is always on the vacation itinerary.

Nate Calixto
Project Manager / Phoenix AZ
Nate Calixto joined the SGVL team in 2022. Before SGVL, Nate was a superintendent and project manager for a general contractor in the hospitality and medical field. Nate has over 8 years of construction experience on an array of projects, ranging from tenant improvements to ground up hotels and medical facilities. His extensive background in construction brings an advantage to providing an alternative outlook during projects. Nate utilizes this experience by providing oversight during the construction phase on SGVL’s larger and more complicated projects. He displays strong communicative and leadership skills between the project team and owner to quickly provide on-site solutions and direction to proficiently complete each project.
Nate has a degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University and resides outside Phoenix, AZ.
When not working, Nate appreciates off-roading and golfing. He also enjoys watching his daughters pursue their interests in sports and education.
