Our Project Managers

We know the hotel industry. Our combined years of experience within the hospitality sector, allows us to reduce risk while maximizing hotel revenue. We have developed a very specific management approach which tackles the most common pitfalls of hotel projects. Further, our small team grants us the agility to present flexible solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Our direct and collaborative approach enables us to successfully coordinate between the Owner and Brand, meet the construction schedule, minimize hotel disruption and maximize every dollar spent.

In the capacity as a Project Managers, the SGVL team has been involved in over 100 renovations across the country. These renovations consist of a combination of guestroom, public space and miscellaneous CAPEX projects ranging from full-service hotels to portfolios of select service hotels. We have also managed program re-brandings and brand roll-out initiatives.

Matthew Salerno

Principal

Matt Salerno has over 17 years of experience serving as an owner’s representative in the hospitality industry, he understands from the Owner’s perspective what constitutes a successful project. His relationships with various Owners, Brands, Management Companies, Architects/Designers and numerous vendors helps provides the foundation to the collaborative approach necessary to deliver these unique projects successfully. Organized, detail-oriented and resourceful, Matt is personally involved in all projects and is the client’s eyes and ears throughout the life of the project.

Matt is member of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association and The Hospitality Industry Network (NEWH). He has a Civil Engineering degree from Widener University.

Pettrice Lewis

Project Manager

Pettrice Lewis has been working in the hospitality industry for over 16 years. She began her career in the hospitality industry working for Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Since 2011, Pettrice has worked as a project manager as an Owners’ Representative working on an array of hospitality projects ranging from a portfolio of select service hotels to large-scale full-service hotel renovations. She excels at looking for potential opportunities to add value to the asset for our clients. With her diverse hospitality background and experience working with many Brands and Ownership groups, she understands the client’s needs and the necessary skills to deliver each unique project successfully.

Pettrice resides in Washington DC and has degrees from The University of the District of Columbia and The George Washington University.

Paul Ledebur

Project Manager

Paul Ledebur has been working with SGVL since 2017.  Before SGVL, Paul was a project manager in the environmental field for 15 years.   He excels in the team leadership role prioritizing each project team members responsibilities and providing the resources and direction required so each task is completed successfully.  He also provides clear and concise communication to the Owner, so they understand exact projects status in schedule and budget. He has managed a portfolio of select service renovations successfully, including multiple Brands.    

Paul is a military veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.  He graduated from West Chester University and resides in the Philadelphia area.
